This year we will not be having an annual clean-up day on the park strips.
The trees were trimmed by Our City Forest and are looking good. We are however; looking for volunteers to help maintain them with a general sweep and minimal weed pulling over the next couple of months.

If you are up for the task which can be accomplished on your own schedule, let us know.

As part of the City’s budget cuts we have been notified that those trees
that are still staked and require water every two weeks will NO LONGER BE
WATERED BY THE CITY. For those of you neighboring the retaining walls in
which these trees are located, a member of the Association will be approaching you over the next couple of months to ask permission to use your water supply throughout the Summer months in order to accomplish this task.

We are also looking for volunteers willing to do “adopt” a strip and take care of the trees on that strip once every two weeks.

If you are interested in helping out in either of these capacities, please let us know by contacting:
    Jacqueline_price@mindspring.com or 408-226-8679

We organize several events to help with park cleanup and planting. Help is needed with picking up litter, sweeping, weeding and checking sprinklers.  You can also volunteer on your own time with the Adopt A Park program.
